Summer Internship Opportunity: ESG Reporting Framework

This summer, we're offering a unique internship opportunity for a student to contribute to the intersection of innovation and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact.

Project Overview:

As a Summer Intern, you will work on an exciting project to help establish an ESG reporting framework that aligns our R&D activities with Tait's broader sustainability objectives. You will:

• Identify and gather relevant ESG-related data from ongoing and past R&D projects.
• Develop a robust reporting framework that reflects the ESG impact of R&D activities.
• Provide recommendations on how future R&D projects can align with and strengthen Tait's group-wide ESG initiatives.

This project is a key step in helping Tait define and measure the impact of our innovations through an ESG lens.

What We're Looking For:

• An interest in ESG principles and sustainability.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks such as TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) and GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with ERP systems, or a willingness to learn.
• Proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.

To be eligible for a summer internship, you must:

• Have studied or be studying at a New Zealand tertiary education institute (note: students who have completed study overseas are not eligible).
• Be studying at NZQA level 6-10, or if study has been completed, the closing date of the last semester must be less than 12 months ago.
• Be studying science, technology, engineering, design or business.
• Be legally permitted to work in New Zealand.
• Not have been previously employed at our business unless part-time or temporary.
• Not have undertaken more than two Experience Grant Internships with our Business.

This is a fixed term paid summer internship position for 400 hours, commencing on the 17th November 2025.
