Machine Operator
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Machine Operator - Roofing Manufacturing to join our Christchurch manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role working with roofing production machinery in a fast-paced factory environment. Hours: Monday to Friday with shifts between 5:00am - 8:00pm, plus occasional Saturday work.
What you'll be doing
- Operate production and roll-forming machinery
- Manufacture roofing products to specification
- Monitor coil and production materials
- Load/unload trucks and support dispatch
- Complete basic production records
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Requirements
- Machine operating experience in manufacturing or production
- Experience operating roll-forming machinery
- Experience manufacturing roofing products
- Ability to read measurements and follow instructions
- Physically fit for manual handling
- Forklift licence or overhead crane certification preferred
- Eligible to work in New Zealand
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen
