Join the team at Sudima Auckland Airport as a Night Hotel Service Supervisor and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel overnight. As the face of the hotel during night hours, you will provide exceptional guest service while completing daily financial and administrative processes that support the hotel's operations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential. Previous customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Weekend and public holiday availability is required. This shift starts at 11:00pm and finishes at 07:30am.
This full-time permanent role (guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week) is based at Sudima Auckland Airport and the salary for this role will be $59,280.00 per annum.
Responsibilities | Nga Haepapa
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of front office
- Determining work requirements and allocating duties to Commercial Housekeepers, Luggage porters and Doorpersons
- Conferring with managers to coordinate activities with other organisational units
- Maintaining attendance records and rosters
- Explaining and enforcing safety regulations
- Overseeing the work of the unit and suggesting improvements and changes
- Conferring with workers to resolve grievances
- May perform front office and hotel reception duties
- Uphold company service standards at all times
- Support other departments when needed
- Assist with preparing and delivering of overnight room service orders
Requirements
About You | Ko Koe Tenei
The successful candidate will need to possess the following:
NZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
or
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the qualification.
- Must be flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Holds a full New Zealand driver licence (essential)
- Holds a Managers Certificate
- Previous experience in a customer-focused role
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Committed to delivering excellent guest service
- Well presented with high grooming standards
- Calm, organised, and detail-oriented, even in busy environments
- Able to multitask while maintaining a friendly, professional approach with guests
- Professional manner with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
