Short Order Cook | Cafe Experience

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Short Order Cook with cafe experience to join our fantastic team.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys creating fresh, delicious food for our amazing residents.

About the role:
You'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality cafe-style food, working alongside a great team to deliver a warm and enjoyable dining experience. This is a hands-on role with plenty of interaction, where your passion for food and people will really shine.

  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team

Qualifications

To tatou kaitono pai | What you bring

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or cafe
  • Exceptional cooking and baking skills
  • Excellent food hygiene practices and a commitment to safe working practices
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and able to work well under pressure with good time management.
  • Empathy towards older adults, good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Honesty, reliability, and integrity.
  • Current NZ Food Safety Certificate.
