Client Executive - Commercial or SME
Client Executive
As a key member of our regional team, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent service to existing and new clients across the allocated portfolio. You’ll work collaboratively across the business, to ensure a seamless, positive client experience.
We have two opportunities - one in the Commercial team and one in the SME team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the endtoend client journey, working closely with Claims teams and Aon Business Services (ABS) colleagues to ensure smooth, timely support.
- Take ownership of a small portfolio of SME/Commercial clients requiring standard product sets, and contribute to client planning alongside Client Directors/Managers.
- Lead renewal and midterm discussions, ensuring advice is timely, accurate, and aligned with client needs.
- Optimise systems and processes to drive efficiency, scalability, compliance, and a strong colleague and client experience.
- Champion continuous improvement, using data insights and best practice to deliver predictable, highstandard outcomes.
- Promote proactive conduct and risk management, identifying and mitigating operational, privacy, and thirdparty risks in everyday work.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
You’ll be a natural communicator who understands how to tailor to the situation, whether it be face to face, over the phone or through written correspondence. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with clients, systems and detail – and who takes pride in getting things right the first time. You will ideally bring:
- Client-first mindset – you genuinely care about delivering great client outcomes and building long-term relationships.
- Strong communication skills – confident and professional in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly.
- Organisational and time management skills – able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative approach – enjoy working as part of a regional team and partnering with Claims, ABS and other internal colleagues to support the client journey.
- Commercial awareness – an interest in business and risk, with the ability to understand client needs and match them to appropriate solutions.
- Problem-solving mindset – proactive in following up, resolving issues and finding practical solutions for clients and colleagues.
- Resilience and adaptability – able to stay calm under pressure, adapt to change and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
