KingsWay School Teacher (Years 7-13)-Mathematics

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full time KingsWay School Teacher, teaching Mathematics on our Senior Campus from term 3 2026.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tumanako.

About the Job

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Effectively engaging with and teaching Mathematics to students in Years 10-13
• Contributing to the departments academic process and achievement
• Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff
  

The successful applicant will:

• Connect well with, and thrive on imparting their Mathematics knowledge to Year 10-13 students
• Have experience with the NCEA Mathematics curriculum
• Ability to teach calculus through to Year 13 advantageous
• Enjoy effectively partnering with parents
  
• Enjoy working collaboratively
• Have a desire to grow their professional capacity

An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School.
