Public Kitchen and Bar, Finz Seafood and Grill, and Bella Cucina are three well-established Queenstown restaurants, collectively known as Wai Hospitality Group.


We require multiple full-time permanentCommis Chefswho genuinely care and want to join an amazing team to deliver memorable guest experiences.


  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • $28.00 to $29.66 per hour, depending on experience
  • Rostered day and evening shifts Monday to Sunday


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control, correctly label, store and rotate food items.
  • Prep and order lists, receive and put away deliveries.
  • Compliance with regulations
  • Communication with the kitchenand restaurant team, and wider Hospitality Group
  • Guest focused to nurture an excellent guest experience creating raving fans

Applicants should be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months and be a New Zealand citizen/resident or hold a valid work visa. We are however, an Accredited Employer and can offer Visa support if required.
