Packing Operator - Day Shift

We're looking for an experienced Packing Operator on the Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 6am-2.30pm) who is reliable, hands-on, and confident operating and troubleshooting semi-automated packing line equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate and monitor semi-automated packing line equipment
• Carry out line checks and quality inspections to ensure product meets standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate mechanical abnormalities promptly
• Complete accurate packing records
• Minimise downtime, waste and packing losses
• Clean packing equipment and work areas to GMP and food safety standards
• Support shift packing performance, uptime and production targets
• Work safely and follow all health, safety, quality and food safety requirements
• Provide support across other packing and production areas when required

What you'll bring

• Experience operating semi-automated packing line equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to troubleshoot and investigate equipment issues
• Experience working to production targets, quality standards and GMP requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
• A proactive approach to identifying issues and escalating them quickly
• Reliability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn
• Physical fitness and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
