KEY INFORMATION General Practitioner Permanent opportunity 6/10 to 8/10 (24 to 32 hours per week) Nelson, top of New Zealand's South! THE TEAM AND THE PRACTICE This is a multidisciplinary and multi-talented team focused on holistic patient care. A nurse and GP are assigned to new patients, and care is taken to get to know and understand them, with a strong focus on cultural safety and the social determinants of health. LOCATION Tucked in to the top of New Zealand's South Island, Nelson is a sun-soaked gem known for its vibrant arts scene, stunning natural landscapes, and laid-back coastal charm. It's surrounded by the lush forests and crystal-clear rivers of Kahurangi National Park and the unique caves and marble landscapes of Nelson Lakes National Park, making it a paradise for lovers of the outdoors. It's served by Nelson Airport, which offers regular domestic flights and is just 15 minutes from the city centre - making it easily accessible from major hubs like Wellington and Auckland.
