CCTV Operator - Christchurch
About the job:
We’re looking for an experienced CCTV Operator to join our team in Christchurch.
The role involves:
- Carrying out CCTV operations and surveys using tractor and push cameras
- Preparing, editing, and revising drainage inspection plans and maps
- Accurately interpreting wastewater and stormwater plans
- Assisting with clearing blockages across networks
- Interpreting CCTV survey logs and extracting relevant information
- Using CCTV technology to support fault-finding and problem-solving
What you’ll need:
- Excellent understanding of Wastewater networks and maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of plant and equipment required for wastewater activities.
- The ability to read and interpret plans (or willingness to learn)
- Proficient in Wincan, Cleanflow, GIS and the NZ Pipe Inspection Manual.
- We need someone who is able and willing to participate in the on-call and standby roster.
- You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused and work well in a team as well as independently.
- A full class 1 licence and an ability to drive a manual is also essential.
All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
