About the job:

We’re looking for an experienced Branch Manager to join our team in Timaru!

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering critical maintenance contracts and water infrastructure services across the Timaru District. This may include:

  • Building and maintaining strong, trusted partnerships with our clients.
  • Leading the delivery of maintenance contracts safely, efficiently, and profitably.
  • Optimising staff, plant, and resources for maximum productivity.
  • Maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and client communication.
  • Building a high-performing, collaborative culture

What you’ll need:

  • Proven operational or contract management experience.
  • Experience leading teams of 20 or more staff members.
  • A relevant management or technical qualification, ideally the New Zealand Certificate in Engineering (or an equivalent credential).
  • Indepth understanding of the Three Waters network and the wider water industry.
  • Demonstrated success delivering contracts to time, budget, and quality
  • Extensive health, safety and environmental experience.

All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, Ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
