About the Role

As aJuniorSoftware Configuration Developer, you will work as part of a dedicated support team to deliver quality production support,configurationand enhancements to our global registry clients.You'llcollaborate with a wide range of stakeholders - including clients, business analysts, developers,testersand project managers - to configure, develop andmaintainregistry applications based on detailed functional and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development
  • Customize software components based on client requirements
  • Follow design and specification documents to ensure consistency and quality
  • Testing
  • Conduct unit and integration testing of configured components
  • Support QA teams during system and user acceptance testing phases
  • Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide ongoing production support for live systems
  • Identifyopportunities for improvement and contribute to enhancing application performance and reliability

WhatWe'reLooking For

Education & Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in Computer Science,Engineeringor a related field
  • Minimum of2yearsofexperience in an IT environment
  • At least1yearofhands-on experience in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Groovy, C#, PHP), with Java preferred

Technical Skills

  • Goodunderstanding of system design, programming concepts, and database fundamentals
  • Keen interestin web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS)
  • Understanding of commonweb servicetechnologies (REST or SOAP)
  • Familiar with software development lifecycle (SDLC); experience with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) is a plus
  • Practical experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Jira, Jenkins)
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with NoSQL databases isadvantageous
  • Familiar with source control tools and workflows (e.g. Git, SVN)
  • Knowledge of ITIL and DevOps practices isadvantageous
  • Exposure to AI tools isadvantageous

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset
