Senior Electrical Engineer - Control Systems

We are searching for an experienced engineer with experience in control systems for industrial applications. In this position you will help clients design, develop and commission power & control systems for large industrial projects, Water & Wastewater treatment facilities being an example of these projects. With 10+ years experience you will have a level of seniority allowing you to have a hand in all stages of a project while being able to project manage the successful implementation\/commissioning of the various solutions. :<\/p>

To be considered a strong candidate for this role you will need to:<\/p>

Be passionate about Engineering.<\/p>

Be degree qualified with a BE (Electrical) plus relevant experience<\/p>

Have strong technical knowledge of specifications, standards and codes (AS\/NZS 3000)<\/p>

Have had experience working in a consultancy delivering excellent service to external clients.<\/p>

Demonstrated project management capabilities \- experience in managing projects, budgets and resources to deliver quality results that are on time and to scope.<\/p>

Possess excellent communication skills in order to effectively interact with clients, suppliers and contractors and team members.<\/p>

Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<\/p>

Have an analytical approach to problem solving.<\/p>

Have excellent documentation and reporting skills.<\/p>

Be committed to high quality detailed designs that leave no questions unanswered.<\/p>

Technically we are looking for:<\/p>

10+ years experience<\/p>

Project Management qualification<\/p>

Experience in the design of complex power & control systems<\/p>

Leadership and training experience for younger engineers<\/p>

Experience in low and medium voltage control systems<\/p>

Experience with SCADA and Telemetry implementation<\/p>\n
