About the role:
The Laser and Turret Operator would see you setting up, maintaining and operating the laser and turret machines to manufacture and cut product ensuring project requirements and specifications are met.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Checking and interpreting drawings
- Following and undertaking work instructions correctly to maintain a safe work site
- Ensuring quality, cost and delivery times are met
- Ensuring objectives, policies and procedures are consistently adhered to
This is a full-time day shift position working Monday to Thursday, working 10-hour shifts 4.30 am to 3.00pm.
The ideal Laser and Turret Operator will:
- Have a minimum of 3 years' relevant laser or turret machining experience
- Have a proven work history in a sheet metal environment
- Have the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, and detailed instructions
- Fiber Laser experience (would be preferred)
- Have familiarity with Amada machinery (this is a bonus)
- Be a team player
- Have good attention to detail
