Citycare Property will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force Facilities Management Services to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa.

Join us in the role of Boiler Technician, Linton Military Camp to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.

Linton Military Camp is the NZ Army’s largest camp, located just south of Palmerston North, and is a major hub for engineers, logistics, infantry, armour, and a wide range of Army capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing | Nga Kawenga Takohanga

  • Operating, monitoring and maintaining the boiler plant, valving, pipework, monitoring equipment, and ancillary systems in accordance with approved operating manuals and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory, statutory, and organisational requirements relating to boiler operations and boiler house activities.
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure facility and plant conditions meet required safety and quality standards.
  • Ensuring works comply with health & safety, environmental, security, and contractual requirements.

What We’re Looking For| A Matou e Rapu Ana:

  • Recognised qualification or certification as a Boilerman or Boiler Operator, or equivalent industry-recognised training.
  • Demonstrated understanding of boiler plant operation, safety requirements, and compliance obligations.
  • Full, clean NZ driver licence.
  • Experience operating, monitoring, and maintaining boiler plant and associated systems.
  • Experience working in regulated or safety-critical environments
  • Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values.
  • The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
  • Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements

This opportunity is subject to final negotiations and a contract being signed with NZDF – this is underway and expected to be completed before this recruitment process concludes.
