We are looking for ambassadors to join Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour as Full-Time Meetings & Events Sales Coordinator. The ideal ambassador has a strong eye for detail, a genuine passion for delivering magnifique luxury experiences, and a commitment to being part of a warm, high-performing team.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

You'll be the go-to person once events are confirmed, owning the coordination process and bringing events to life.

  • Manage the end-to-end coordination of small to medium events, from proposals through to delivery and billing
  • Act as the main contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a smooth experience throughout
  • Prepare accurate event orders (BEOs) and ensure clear communication with operational teams
  • Work closely with F&B, operations and external suppliers to deliver high-quality events
  • Support the sales team with enquiries, site inspections and showcasing event spaces
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and maximise revenue throughout the planning process
  • Maintain accurate records and pipelines using CRM and sales systems

Qualifications

What you bring:

You're organised, proactive and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

  • 1-2 years' experience in events, hospitality or a similar environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communication skills and a client-first mindset
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently
  • Energy, positivity and a genuine passion for events
