About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced DC Team Manager to join our Distribution Centre (DC) in Mangere, Auckland. This newly created role will support an established leadership team and offers the opportunity to operate at a higher level, with strong exposure to operational leadership, safety, and team development. Reporting to the DC Manager, you'll take charge of operations within our fastpaced Distribution Centre. This is your chance to lead a highperforming team, ensuring service delivery is efficient, accurate, and always on time. You'll be at the heart of planning and managing labour, setting the standard for clear communication, and championing a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Meeting service delivery-based performance targets for the area in which you are responsible to. Creating and executing the daily/weekly plan for your team and communicating task priorities clearly to team members to ensure targets are met. Championing Operations Excellence and Continuous Improvement. Providing hands-on leadership to front-line team members, building trust and motivation. Demonstrating and driving safety leadership through but not limited to daily start up meetings, safety shares, team warm up/stretches, pre-start checks, reinforcing safe behaviours and addressing as required. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly across two shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. About you We're looking for a passionate, hands-on and experienced people leader to join our team, lead the way in a fastpaced environment, and prioritise the safety of our people. You will bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team motivation and engagement, as well as proven experience in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing actionable measures. In addition, you will bring: Demonstrated experience in warehouse or logistics operations, with experience leading team members Proven ability to coordinate team tasks and deliver daily operational targets in fastpaced, KPIdriven environments Demonstrated operational decisionmaking ability Understanding of labour models and associated costs Familiarity with WMS and RF devices Proven experience leading safety in an operational environment WHY JOIN US?
