Overview
Experience Manager
Are you someone who thrives on creating environments where people genuinely love coming to work? Do you naturally bring order to chaos, think three steps ahead, and know how to make both employees and clients feel looked after from the moment they walk through the door?
We're Publicis Groupe, a global leader in marketing, communication, and digital business transformation, home to agencies including MBM, Digitas, Saatchi & Saatchi, Spark Foundry, KiwiPlates and Breakout Room.
We're looking for an Experience Manager to lead the workplace experience across our newly renovated Auckland office, supporting up to 300 people across our NZ business. Reporting to the Head of Experience ANZ, you'll play a key role in shaping a workplace that feels welcoming, connected, and seamless - leading everything from culture and engagement initiatives to facilities, events, health & safety, and operational excellence.
You'll also lead and mentor an Experience Executive while partnering closely with senior leaders, People & Culture, Executive Assistants, and external suppliers to ensure our people and visitors have a consistently positive experience.
What you'll do:
- Lead the overall workplace experience strategy across the Auckland office - creating a positive, seamless, and memorable environment for employees and visitors alike.
- Partner with leadership and P&C teams on engagement initiatives, cultural moments, and employee experience programs.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, facilities, suppliers, budgets, and workplace standards.
- Lead the planning and execution of internal events, celebrations, and business-wide initiatives that strengthen culture and connection.
- Manage external and client-facing events in partnership with brand and leadership teams.
- Own Health & Safety responsibilities for the NZ office, including compliance, audits, emergency readiness, and training.
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and ways of working to create a scalable and efficient Experience function.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Experience Executive, setting clear priorities and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Act as the senior escalation point for workplace and experience-related matters.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in workplace experience, office management, hospitality, events, operations, or a similar people-focused role.
- A natural relationship-builder who can confidently work with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience managing or mentoring others.
- Highly organised with exceptional time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple moving parts.
- Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and proactive in anticipating issues before they arise.
- A people-first mindset with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and discretion.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy, and ever-evolving environment.
Why join us?
At Publicis Groupe, we care deeply about creating a workplace where our people feel connected, inspired, and supported. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a highly visible function and make a real impact on the day-to-day experience of our teams and clients alike.
If you're equal parts people person, organiser, culture champion, and operational superstar - we'd love to hear from you.
