Mower Operator - Far North

Citycare Property is proud to service the Far North District Council communities and keep this stunning part of Aotearoa looking beautiful. We are looking for two full-time Mower Operators to join us on a three-month fixed term contract. If you are all about the details, and someone who enjoys when working alongside others, committed to delivering top-notch service, we want you on board! The roles will be based in the Waipapa/Kerikeri area.

In this role, you'll operate a variety of mowers, including tractors, out-front mowers, walker mowers, small plant and more. You will also be responsible for maintaining the equipment and completing work according to contract specifications, rain, or shine. Plus, pitch in with other tasks to support the Greenspace team as needed, this includes line trimming, litter collection, water blasting, painting & weed spraying as well as weekend work required from time to time.

What You’ll Bring to the Table | Nga Mea ka Mauria e Koe ki te Runanga:

  • Hold a valid Class 1 driver's licence.
  • Class 2 driver’s license would be a bonus.
  • Proven experience in using a variety of mowers and small plant.
  • Ability to work too and meet deadlines.
  • Have a strong emphasis on health and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and within the wider team.
  • Physically fit and motivated to be effective.
