Wastewater Serviceperson - Auckland
About the job:
We’re looking for an experienced Wastewater Serviceperson to join our team in Auckland.
The role involves carrying out physical work needed to complete high-quality projects to meet company and contract requirements. This may include a wide range of tasks such as:
- General labouring – cleaning, clearing, lifting or other civil work
- Operating plant and machinery as required such as loaders, rollers and trucks
- Trenching, excavation and drainage
- Maintain tools, plant and equipment
What you’ll need:
- Class 1 and 2 licence and WTR Endorsements is essential, class 4 licence is desirable
- Construction skills and knowledge
- Ideally you will have previous experience in maintaining wastewater systems or experience within the construction and utilities industry.
- Some experience working on three waters, subdivision, and trenching and drainage projects is advantageous.
- You will need to be physically fit, health and safety focused, and work well in a team as well as independently.
All preferred candidates will be required to complete preemployment checks to the employer’s satisfaction. These checks include but are not limited to, ministry of Justice criminal conviction report, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.
