ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Site Engineer, you'll be tasked with working on our many projects, owning the management and coordination. Working to tight timeframes, and closely with our clients, you'll be forming the foundations of projects to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones.

Our sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations/switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.

ABOUT YOU

Reporting to the Construction Manager you will be able to hit the ground running and hold:

  • Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum three years New Zealand experience as a Site Engineer for civil infrastructure projects
  • Experience and knowledge of earthworks, drainage, precast concrete, in-situ concrete
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations and quality standards
  • Effective communicator, leads by example and demonstrates strong leadership abilities
  • Self-starter with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills matched with the ability to work without supervision
  • Be Hamilton based with the ability to travel and stay away where required
  • New Zealand citizen or resident visa
