About the role
Our FUJIFILM Business Innovation team in Auckland is looking for an experienced, commercial savvy Inventory Planning Manager. This is a pivotal role that will directly impact customer satisfaction, working capital, and overall business performance.
This role would be responsible for managing the logistics team, who are responsible for managing the forecasting and purchasing of products, controlling inventory levels to agreed targets, and achieving the level of service targets to internal and external customers.
Duties include:
- Report monthly on the value of inventory and monthly reports completion with an overview of results.
- Owning the end-to-end inventory planning function across NZ, covering hardware, parts, and consumables
- Highlight stock that is likely to become obsolete and manage corrective actions.
- Coaching, developing, and empowering your team to deliver best planning capability
- Reporting all required financial data to Head of Supply Chain, finance and the broader management team.
- Oversee stocktakes for Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington on a bi annual basis
- Processes are reviewed for efficiency and effectiveness and improvements implemented on a timely basis.
Skills & experience
We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail. Along with this, you will also have:
- 5 years plus working experience in Logistics and sound knowledge of all aspects of supply chain
- Solid experience in inventory planning / demand planning / supply chain management
- Knowledge of Supply chain principles from Procurement to delivery
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Financially literate with understanding of accounting principles and policy
- Experience in planning and forecasting
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Positive, proactive and over all "Can Do" attitude
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, (written and verbal)
