Marketing Executive - Acquisition Strategy, Creative & Brand
The Marketing Executive, Acquisition Strategy, Creative & Brand supports the development and execution of customer acquisition strategies and integrated marketing campaigns across Consumer and Business Card portfolios and the Amex NZ Brand.
This role combines marketing, creative coordination and operational excellence, with a strong focus on campaign quality, process discipline, efficiency and the effective use of AI-enabled tools and technologies to drive scalable customer growth outcomes.
Reporting to the Acquisition Strategy, Creative & Brand Manager, you will help deliver high-impact campaigns across paid and owned channels, working closely with internal stakeholders and agency partners to execute best-in-class marketing initiatives that are customer-centric, commercially effective and operationally rigorous.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in marketing, preferably within customer acquisition, growth marketing, digital marketing or financial services.
- Experience managing or coordinating integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
- Exposure to creative development processes including briefing, feedback management, asset approvals and implementation.
- Understanding of customer acquisition principles including audience segmentation, targeting, testing and performance optimisation.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- High attention to detail with strong quality assurance and process management capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance and identify actionable insights.
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing, productivity and creative tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms.
- Experience improving workflows, campaign operations or team efficiency through automation, process optimisation or scalable ways of working is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Support the planning, execution and optimisation of integrated acquisition campaigns across paid and owned channels.
- Contribute to the development of acquisition offers, messaging and creative strategies that drive customer growth, engagement and profitability.
- Lead coordination of end-to-end campaign execution including briefing, approvals, creative production, implementation, QA and post-campaign reporting.
- Partner closely with creative and media agencies to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, compliant and aligned to business objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and support optimisation through analysis of key metrics, reporting and actionable insights.
- Leverage AI-enabled marketing tools and workflow automation to improve campaign effectiveness, speed to market, creative development and operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes, improve workflows and enhance team productivity through scalable and efficient ways of working.
- Maintain high standards of quality assurance across campaign assets, approvals, tracking and reporting to ensure accuracy and execution excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Analytics, Finance, Compliance and Governance teams to ensure alignment and successful campaign delivery.
- Maintain awareness of competitor activity, customer trends, emerging technologies and AI developments to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support budget tracking, invoice management and campaign administration activities where required.
- Ensure all marketing activity complies with internal governance, regulatory and brand standards.
