About the role
We are working with a well-established civil contractor delivering large-scale infrastructure projects across the North Island and South Island. With a strong forward pipeline of work, they are currently looking to add to their team and bring on both Site Engineers and Site Supervisors to support project delivery in the Waikato.
These are hands on roles where you will be boots on the ground, coordinating work, solving problems, and helping drive projects through to completion
Site Engineer
Coordinate day-to-day site activities
Monitor progress against programme and milestones
Work closely with supervisors and project managers
Manage QA, documentation, and reporting
Ensure works meet drawings and specifications
Site Supervisor
Lead crews across drainage, structures, and civil works
Coordinate subcontractors, plant, and materials
Drive programme and maintain site productivity
Uphold health, safety and quality standards
Take ownership of daily site delivery
About you
Practical, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment. You enjoy ownership of your work and know how to operate as part of a strong delivery team.
Site Engineers
Civil Engineering qualification
3+ years’ experience on NZ civil projects
Experience with QA, plans, and site coordination
Strong communication and organisational skills
Site Supervisors
Proven experience leading crews on civil sites
Background in drainage, concrete, or structures
Able to read plans and drive works to programme
Confident managing subcontractors and site delivery
Other requirements
NZ residency or citizenship (client not accredited)
Based in or open to relocating to Waikato
Flexibility to travel for projects when required
