Job Description
At Mr Singh NZ Limited, we provide a wide range of vehicle repair and automotive services including mechanical servicing, diagnostics, collision repairs, panel restoration, dent repairs, replacement of damaged body components, automotive painting and vehicle refinishing preparation.
We are currently seeking a Panel Beater & Painter to join our professional team.
If you are experienced, with sound knowledge of vehicle body repairs, vehicle paint preparation, restoration and panel replacement work, and take pride in maintaining
high standards of workmanship and efficiency, then you are what we are

About the role
As part of this role, you will be responsible for performing the following
tasks (but not limited to):
Assessing damaged vehicles and determining appropriate repair methods
Removing damaged panels, trims and vehicle body components for repair or replacement
Repairing dents, structural damage and deformed panels using specialised panel beating equipment and techniques
Cutting, shaping, aligning and fitting replacement panels and body parts
- Welding, grinding, filling and smoothing repaired surfaces to prepare vehicles for refinishing
- Preparing repaired vehicle surfaces for painting including sanding,
masking and priming, applying paint, protecive coatings to achieve high quality standards Checking completed repairs and paintwork to ensure quality and
consistencyMaintaining safe working practices and ensuring tools and equipment are properly used and maintained
Qualification, Experience and Attributes Required
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or atleast a diploma
Punctual, organised and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail
Ability to work quickly and effectively in a busy environment
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay & Benefits
Full time permanent employment
Minimum of 32 hours/week guaranteed
Pay rate ranges between $29 to $38/hour
