Painter

About Us

ASC Homes is a growing construction company specialising in residential building projects. We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Painters to join our team.

Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, with up to 55 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to select colours and finishes
• Prepare surfaces by filling holes, cracks, and joints, and cleaning surfaces
• Mix and match paint to achieve required colours
• Apply paint and decorative finishes including glazing, graining, marbling, and lettering
• Cut and hang wallpaper, vinyl, and backing paper
• Erect scaffolding up to 5 metres in height (higher scaffolding to be completed by a licensed scaffolder)
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with safety requirements

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry or
• A relevant certificate or a bachelor's degree in any field can replace the required work experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
