Nga korero mo te turanga - About the role

We have a part-time, one-year fixed term postdoctoral fellow position available for a highly motivated individual to develop and conduct high quality research in evolutionary ecology and geonomics of invasive blowflies.

You will work with Ang McGaughran on the Tawhia Te Mana Fellowship on Decoding Invasion Success.

Salary will be in the range of $92,603 to $101,889 per year prorated based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a part-time role (30 hours a week, 0.8 FTE), based on our Hillcrest Campus.

You will have demonstrated technical expertise in a relevant field such as evolutionary ecology and/or geonomics and will work closely with a variety of stakeholders and academics locally and globally.

You will be a highly motivated researcher, adept at developing and conducting high quality research. You will be comfortable collaborating and building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to disseminate research findings.
