Job Description
He aha te turanga - About the role:
Oversee the smooth running of our Huapai Retail Store two days a week.
- Wednesday 8 hrs ( 8.30am to 5pm)
- Saturday 6.5 hrs.(9am to 4pm)
Ideally you will also be available to cover for the Store Manager on other days of the week, if required.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Supporting store manager in operations and achieving the shop's revenue targets
- Sorting donations and restocking shelves
- Maintaining store displays and cleanliness
- Collaborating with the manager to price goods appropriately
- Encouraging and supporting exceptional customer service
- Leading and motivating volunteers
Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in retail and interest in second-hand goods
- Ability to lead and motivate volunteers
- Customer focused with a "can-do" attitude
- Organised with an eye for detail
- Great interpersonal skills
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be physically fit as you will be on your feet all day and lifting and carrying donations.
- The role is 80% mahi and 20% support and 100% rewarding.
