Job Description In the centre of New Zealand's North Island is the country's largest lake and one of its most vibrant towns. Here's your opportunity to settle in the outdoors playground of the north with this permanent role in a large, forward thinking practice. KEY INFORMATION General Practitioner Permanent opportunity From 6 sessions/24 hours per week No weekday on call; 1 half day every 6 weeks Taupo THE PRACTICE AND THE TEAM This is a busy practice with 19,500 enrolled patients. The team is experienced and supportive and focused on proactive patient healthcare. It's a modern, purpose built facility, a few blocks back from the lake's edge for a stroll, a sandwich, or an afternoon run. LOCATION Taupo, located at the centre of the North Island, literally has a 'great' lake for water-skiing, sailing and kayaking. The forests surrounding the lake offer world-class hiking and mountain biking to suit all levels of experience. Go fishing in Turangi, ski at Whakapapa or Turoa, or bike the Craters of the Moon. The local airport offers daily connecting flights to the international airports in Auckland and Wellington.
