Our Audit, Assurance and Reporting Advisory business is looking for an Experienced Associate to join the Audit team in Wellington with at least 2 years practical experience in providing audit and assurance services in a Chartered Accounting environment.

Job Description

The impact you'll make:

  • Presenting findings and recommending/implementing advice
  • Reviewing written advice, reports, memoranda and/or other relevant deliverables
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving; making recommendations that shape or support the client's business strategy
  • Understanding of audit and risk advisory issues and stakeholder needs to address complex problems
  • Positively influencing clients, teams, and individuals positively by building relationships and communicating effectively.
  • Delivering exceptional client service; maximising results while fostering collaboration across businesses and borders.

Qualifications

Your expertise:

  • 2+ years audit experience in a chartered accountancy firm,
  • Demonstrated understanding of NZ accounting standards
  • A Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law
  • A CAANZ full membership, or working towards this.
  • Experience using Omnia and Levvia
  • Xero Advisor certified
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills combined with sound excel skills.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Well-developed research and problem-solving skills
