Diesel Mechanic

Key Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working abroad (overseas)
• Proven track record of overseas employment. Must provide supporting documents, including:
  • Certificate of Employment
  • Employment Contract
  • Letter from Employer
  • Payslips
  • Company ID
  • Residence Permit, etc.
• Valid Police Clearance from country of work/residence for more than 5 years
• Very good verbal and written English communications skills
• Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and hydraulic faults on ultra-class and heavy earthmoving machinery.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic software (e.g., Cat ET, Cummins Insite, Link-One) to read fault codes, analyze live telemetry data, and pinpoint root causes.
• Interpret intricate technical manuals, blueprint schematics, and hydraulic/electrical circuit diagrams.
• Perform minor and major repairs, including full rebuilds of diesel engines (V8, V12, V16 configurations), power shift transmissions, differentials, and planetary final drives.
• Overhaul and calibrate high-pressure hydraulic systems, including variable displacement pumps, control valves, and cylinders.
• Conduct undercarriage maintenance, track replacements, and structural welding/component alignments on bulldozers and excavators.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance services (PMs), fluid sampling (SOS), and comprehensive machine inspections.
