Software Account Representative (Australia and New Zealand)
Software Account Representative (SAR)
Hybrid Sales | Self-Sourced Pipeline | Fast Track to Field BDM
This isn't a leads-handed-to-you kind of role.
This is a hunter role. You build your own pipeline, make your own calls, knock on your own doors, and close your own deals. If that excites you, keep reading.
You'll spend 60% of your time selling over the phone — making up to 60 dials a day — and 40% in the field meeting clients face to face, supported by a $3,500 car allowance to keep you moving. You own the full cycle: prospect, pitch, demo, close — then nurture customers for 3 months post-sale to lock in their success.
Perform well and you'll move into a full Field BDM role within 6–12 months, where strong performers consistently earn $150,000+.
A Day in the Life
- 8:30am — You're at your desk, coffee in hand, dialling. No easing in — you're straight into your cold call block. Up to 60 dials a day, working a fresh prospect list you built yourself.
- 10:30am — A prospect you warmed up last week is ready to go deeper. You bring in your Software Sales Consultant and together you run a virtual demo — you know the client, they know the product. It's a team close.
- 12:00pm — Lunch. You review your pipeline, send a few follow-up SMS and emails, and map out your afternoon field visits.
- 1:30pm — You're in the car, heading to two back-to-back face-to-face meetings with local business owners. These are the conversations that get deals across the line.
- 3:30pm — Back at your desk. One of your new customers from last week has a question — you check in, build the relationship, and lock in their loyalty.
- 4:30pm — You update your CRM, note tomorrow's priority dials, and close out the day knowing exactly where your pipeline stands.
- 5:00pm — Done. And you've moved the needle.
Who We're Looking For
We love people who've built their grit the hard way — cold calling, door knocking, hearing "no" and dialling again. You've owned a full end-to-end sales cycle and you're proud of it.
You're hungry, coachable, and you don't wait for the phone to ring — you make it ring. Up to 60 times a day.
You'll also need:
- A current, valid driver's licence
- Availability to work full-time, 8:30am – 5:00pm in your local time zone (we hire across Australia and New Zealand)
