Group Financial Accountant
We're looking for a technically strong Group Financial Accountant to join our Finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate, timely reporting of Vista Group's global financial position.
This is a broad, hands-on role in a complex, multi-entity environment, where you'll be responsible for supporting financial reporting across our operating subsidiaries, contributing to statutory and interim reporting cycles, and ensuring we meet our compliance obligations. You'll work closely with the wider Finance team across month-end and year-end processes, group consolidations, and ongoing financial administration.
A key focus of this role, and a real point of differentiation is contributing to our climate-related financial reporting and disclosures. This is a growing and high-impact area for the team, offering the opportunity to work on meaningful, forward-looking reporting initiatives alongside your core financial responsibilities.
Alongside this, you'll also play an active role in driving process improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance systems, reporting accuracy, and efficiency, and leading initiatives through to delivery.
This role is well-suited to someone who combines strong technical capability with a proactive mindset, enjoys working in a global environment, and is motivated by both compliance-driven work and evolving areas like climate reporting.

- Experience preparing statutory and monthly financial reports within a multi-national or group structure
- Strong understanding of IFRS and NZX reporting requirements
- Experience working across multiple operating subsidiaries in a global environment
- Proven experience in group consolidations
- Exposure to foreign currency transactions and currency translation
- Strong systems capability, including experience with Business Central or a similar ERP system
