Graduate Back End Java Developer
Youtap Limited is seeking a talented Graduate Back End Java Developer to join their team. As a member of the Youtap team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and provide white-label digital banking and digital wallet solutions to financial institutions and corporates worldwide. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's digital banking, payments, and loyalty applications - using AI tools to move fast and ship features that matter.

You will work closely with product managers, front-end developers and architects to bring compelling experiences to life for consumers and merchants across the fintech and loyalty space.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the back-end of the company's digital banking, digital payments, and digital wallet applications using Java Spring Framework.
- Use AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Cursor) as a core part of your workflow - rapidly prototyping, generating boilerplate, writing tests, and iterating on features at speed.
- Develop and deploy on cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure,Google)
- Develop, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and Youtap cloud banking microservices.
- Develop and maintain data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Work closely with the front-end development team to ensure seamless Youtap and third-party Apps integration.
- Ensure optimal application performance and scalability.
- Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and work with the team to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT) as an everyday superpower - show us what you've shipped and how fast you shipped it!
- Manage source control using Bitbucket or GIT
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, including containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Flutter and React is a plus.
