Site Administrator - Ecogas Reporoa

Are you an organised and professional administrator who enjoys being the person who keeps everything running smoothly?

We are looking for a capable Site Administrator to join the Ecogas team at our Reporoa site.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accurate administration, and is confident supporting a busy operational site. You will play an important role in the day-to-day coordination of the site, supporting reception, office operations, compliance documentation, contractor and visitor management, and general administration.

The Role

You will provide reception, office coordination and administration support for the Ecogas Reporoa site. This role supports the efficient operation of an anaerobic digestion facility, which processes organic waste to generate renewable biogas and fertiliser.

As the administrative backbone of the site, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations, accurate records, compliance support, and a professional experience for staff, visitors, contractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors and deliveries
  • Coordinating site access, inductions and contractor prequalification requirements
  • Supporting day-to-day office administration, including supplies, filing, data entry and document management
  • Maintaining site records, communication boards and compliance documentation
  • Keeping the maintenance system and downtime records up to date
  • Coordinating meetings, travel, accommodation and catering as required
  • Raising purchase orders, processing invoices and supporting procurement activities
  • Supporting fleet, site equipment, health, safety and environmental administration
  • Assisting with required site sampling records and reporting any site concerns

About You

You are an approachable, organised and reliable administrator who enjoys working closely with people and supporting a busy operational team. You bring care, discretion and strong attention to detail to your work, along with a calm, practical approach to problem solving.

You will ideally have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administration or office coordination role
  • NCEA Level 2 or higher, or equivalent
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner
  • Confidence working with visitors, contractors, suppliers and internal teams
  • The ability to manage records, documents and administrative systems accurately
  • A proactive approach to health, safety and environmental requirements
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to the wider team
