ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our Senior Leadership Team and manage the procurement and tendering aspects of our projects including estimating and quantity surveying. You will help manage other Estimators/Quantity Surveyors and help our Contracts Managers deliver projects on time and within budget.

Our sites include brownfield and greenfield electrical substations / switchyards, deep and complex drainage projects, solar farms and many sites involving in-situ cast concrete and precast concrete buildings and structures.

ABOUT YOU

Reporting to the Estimating Manager you will be able to hit the ground running and hold:

• Qualification in estimating / quantity surveying
• Minimum five years NZ based senior estimating / quantity surveying experience in the civil construction sector
• Strong ability to help mentor other team members and collaborate with subcontractors and clients
• Excellent attention to detail with solid analytical and numerical skills
• Effective written communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills including advanced MS Office
• Be Hamilton based and entitled to live and work in New Zealand
