Cover Driver Wanted – Temporary Role (Christchurch)
We’re looking for a reliable cover driver to support our recycling plant operations, delivering and collecting large recycling bins from commercial sites around Christchurch while our regular driver is on leave.
Location: Hillsborough, Christchurch
Dates: Starts the beginning of June for 3-4 Weeks (Two weeks training into the role will be provided)
Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm (some days may start earlier or finish later)
The Role:
*Driving and operating a Class 4 Hook Truck (Auto) and Class 2 Rear Load Truck (Auto)
*Delivering and collecting large recycling bins from commercial customers
*Completing daily routes safely and efficiently
*Representing the company professionally on-site
What We’re Looking For:
*Valid NZ Class 4 licence (Class 2 also required)
*Confident driving automatic trucks
*Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
*Previous experience preferred but not essential
This is a short-term cover role, ideal for someone available during this period and looking for temporary driving work.
