Builder's Labourer
Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Builder's Labourers to join our construction team in Auckland. The successful candidates will assist qualified tradespeople on residential and commercial construction projects and perform a variety of general labouring duties.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting builders, carpenters, and other tradespeople on construction sites
• Loading, unloading, and transporting building materials, tools, and equipment
• Preparing and cleaning construction sites before, during, and after work activities
• Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required
• Assisting with site set-up and dismantling activities
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Performing other general labouring duties as directed by supervisors
Skills and Experience
• Previous construction or labouring experience is preferred but not essential
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work
• Good work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous but not required
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours per week, up to 50 hours per week depending on workload and project requirements.
