Concrete Truck Driver

We are looking for Concrete Truck Driver/operator to join our team, as a Concrete Truck Driver/operator, you will be responsible for safely delivering ready-mix concrete to construction and residential sites, ensuring that the concrete is mixed properly, and maintaining a safe driving record. You will also assist in the loading and unloading of concrete and perform basic truck maintenance as required.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites. · Ensure safe delivery of concrete to the correct location within the specified time.
• Communicate with dispatch to verify delivery schedules and requirements.· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, hours worked, and other required documentation.
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck and ensure the concrete meets specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any issues with equipment or deliveries to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver's license (Class 4) Or Overseas Equivalent.
• Previous experience driving a concrete mixer truck or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand delivery instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Must be physically able to load and unload materials, as well as perform basic truck maintenance.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 25k/g weight.
• Must be Physically Fit as job can be physically demanding sometimes.
• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to Driver Road Ranger Gearbox Preferred

Morning shift

Night shift

Ability to start Early Morning start, late Midnight and Different time Every day as you will be part of rotating roster.

Ability to commute/relocate: · Christchurch, Canterbury: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Licence/Certification: · Class 4 Drivers or Overseas Equivalent. (Required)
