About the role
As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for growing revenue within your territory by securing new business and developing existing customer relationships. You'll act as a key point of contact for your clients, ensuring a high level of service while identifying opportunities to offer DHL's full suite of products and solutions.

This is a hands-on, target-driven role where you'll manage your own pipeline, build strong customer relationships, and actively contribute to the success of the wider sales team.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and networking
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers to maximise revenue
  • Maintain regular customer contact, including face-to-face meetings and calls
  • Build a strong understanding of customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, tenders, and account plans
  • Negotiate pricing within company guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline activity in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Service, Operations, customs and Finance
  • Contribute to sales campaigns, promotions, and events

What you'll bring
  • Experience in field sales or account management (or relevant experience in the express freight/logistics industry)
  • A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Good planning, organisation, and time management skills
  • A proactive, resilient approach with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • A full, current driver's licence
  • Self-motivation
