Reception and Administration Coordinator

Mercy Hospice is looking for a warm, organised, and professional Reception and Administration Coordinator to be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, whanau, visitors, and staff.
This part-time role provides front-of-house and administrative support and helps ensure a calm, respectful, and culturally responsive environment.
Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm
- Total: 27.5 hours per week
About the role
You will:
- greet patients, whanau, visitors, and staff
- manage calls, emails, and bookings
- keep reception welcoming, organised, and professional
- provide administrative support across teams
- prepare rooms and resources for meetings and events
- manage supplies, orders, and catering
- handle frontofhouse transactions and enquiries
- maintain accurate, confidential records
- support clinical administration when needed
- communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
What you'll bring
- experience in reception, administration, or customer service
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- professionalism, reliability, and discretion
- confidence using Microsoft Office and computer systems
- the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds
