Role Summary

As an Account Manager at Monks, you will play a pivotal role in delivering best-in-class media solutions across Managed Media, Advisory, and R&A workstreams. You will be responsible for driving high-quality media executions, fostering strong client relationships, and proactively contributing to internal initiatives and innovation. Operating with a strong sense of self-leadership, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in service delivery, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the delivery of contracted media products and services across key platforms. This focuses on delivering programs of work related to research/insights, strategy and measurement to all assigned clients.
  • Maintain high attention to detail and adhere to SLA expectations.
  • Execute delivery across Managed Media, Advisory, and Resale & Activation, with leadership support as required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client operational teams.
  • Own and manage a client plan and participate in (or lead) client meetings.
  • Deliver value-led engagements and represent Monks effectively in all interactions.
  • Manage personal deliverables and time effectively while contributing to a high-performance team culture.
  • Proactively participate in team meetings, initiatives, and knowledge-sharing.
  • Provide feedback to leadership with proactive solutions on operational improvements.
  • Manage mock billing and assist with troubleshooting invoice issues
  • Support accurate forecasting and ensure Salesforce and EOM compliance.
  • Identify existing client growth opportunities and manage them within Salesforce.
  • Understand and apply the scoping calculator and SOW/legal processes.
  • Engage in partner feedback forums and maintain current platform certifications.
  • Collaborate with partner client teams with leadership support where relevant.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and contribute to internal cultural initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on resourcing allocations and contribute to internal initiatives and mentoring.
  • Attend industry events and collaborate with leadership to create case studies.
  • Share insights and learning across the team from client work and market research.

Experience:

  • Proven media experience across digital platforms, ideally within a media agency or consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client-facing engagements and deliver to contract requirements.
  • Experience working with financial systems, media forecasting, time tracking and billing.
  • Experience using Salesforce is a plus.
  • Proactivity, curiosity, and strong time management.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with a 'what's next' mindset.
  • Proficient in self-prioritisation and capable of managing multiple workstreams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Adept at both contributing to and leading internal initiatives.
