The opportunity

You will be responsible for all our first impressions whether it's through a phone call, a visit, a proposal or report and you will provide a level of customer service that would win over the harshest critic! Based on our front desk, this role provides crucial support to our Office Operations Manager and wider team by keeping our office running smoothly by taking ownership of the usual office administrative tasks, and by providing seamless customer service to all our visitors. Recognising the importance of our people, we have a team close by to provide cover whenever you need it.

You will also be involved with the planning and taking the lead in organising and hosting our onsite networking events and most importantly by helping the attendees feel at ease and welcome in our office. Your involvement doesn't stop there ... you will also support our marketing team to manage the consistency of our brand on client facing documentation. You might be applying brand guidelines to a PowerPoint presentation on one day, formatting a report or proposal on another, and updating our intranet on another so there is plenty of variety to mix things up!

About you

We like to set people up for success, so to get the most out of this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a corporate reception role

  • Previous experience working with a corporate brand

  • Previous experience organising client events

  • A true passion for people, making them feel at ease, and helping them make connections

  • Outstanding organisation and prioritisation skills, as well as initiative and a keen eye for detail

  • The ability to take ownership, and think on your feet to solve the challenges that cross your desk

  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite including; Outlook, Teams, Word and SharePoint
