Job Description
Siya Kitchen Ltd is looking for one Indian cook: Tandoori and Curry cooking
for Wellington region.
Only New Zealand citizen, resident or on an open work visa can apply if they have two years work experience in Indian cuisine.
Work hours: 30-35 hours/week Timing:12 pm- 2 pm and 5 pm - 9 pm as flexibly required, including weekends.
Wages $26-$30/hour, and overtime will be at the same pay rate of $26-$30/hour; Wages will be paid weekly into their nominated bank account.
Duties for Tandoori and Curry cooks:
examining foodstuffs to ensure quality; regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment; preparing and cooking food; seasoning food during cooking; portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes; storing food in temperature-controlled facilities; preparing food to meet special dietary requirements; may plan menus and estimate food requirements; may train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
