Senior Storeperson - Warehouse

We're looking for an experienced Storeperson to take ownership of our busy Stainless Plate & Sheet warehouse. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows warehousing inside-out - picking, dispatching, stock control, and keeping operations running smoothly.

What you'll do:

• Run daily operations of the Plate & Sheet warehouse
• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
• Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts & stocktakes
• Operate forklift and overhead crane safely
• Coordinate with couriers, customers, and the wider team
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (40 hrs/week)

Requirements

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Storeperson with 5+ years of warehousing experience in the metals, steel, or trade industry, or senior-level warehousing experience
• Forklift licence (overhead crane experience a plus)
• Strong experience using inventory or stock control systems
• Experience using dispatch systems is a plus
• Confident communicator with internal teams, couriers, and customers
• Physically fit for manual warehouse tasks
• Basic computer confidence for order entry and updating stock records is a plus
• Based in NZ or holding a valid NZ work visa
