Storeperson - Warehouse
About the Role
We're looking for an Storeperson to take ownership of our busy Stainless Plate & Sheet warehouse. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows warehousing inside-out - picking, dispatching, stock control, and keeping operations running smoothly. Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm (40 hrs/week)
What you'll do:
- Run daily operations of the Plate & Sheet warehouse
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
- Receive, check, and put away incoming stock
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts & stocktakes
- Operate forklift and overhead crane safely
- Coordinate with couriers, customers, and the wider team
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Storeperson in warehouse, dispatch, or logistics
- Forklift licence (overhead crane experience a plus)
- Strong stock control & inventory accuracy skills
- Confident communicator (team, couriers, customers)
- Calm under pressure with sharp attention to detail
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks
- Basic computer/system confidence (training provided)
- Based in NZ or holding a valid NZ work visa
- Willing to complete a pre-employment medical & drug screen
