Your Role:
You'll join the Operations & Service Group, reporting to the National AB Manager. This team delivers on the promises we make to our customers, bringing together LIC's Artificial Breeding, Diagnostics, Farm Management, and Herd Testing teams.
As a senior leader in AB Operations, you will champion quality-owning the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a high-performance quality culture. You'll ensure standards are clearly defined, consistently applied, and continuously elevated.
This role is pivotal in embedding a right-first-time mindset, ensuring full regulatory compliance while driving operational excellence across AB Operations.
Your Key Focus:
Champion and embed best-practice standards across AB Operations
Lead quality systems, managing exceptions and QIRs while driving preventative improvements to minimise failure costs and optimise service delivery
Build capability through education and training, ensuring compliance with and progression beyond regulatory requirements (including Semen Export Regulations, Organic standards, OMAR, HSNO, and Health & Safety)
Own the internal audit programme-leading audits, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring accountability and follow-through on improvement actions
Oversee business risk mitigation, including readiness for Product Recall and Business Continuity events, with regular scenario testing
Partner with the National AB Manager and leadership team to execute strategy with excellence, strengthening capability and lifting operational performance
Your Key Skills & Experience:
Relevant tertiary qualification in a business-related field
Proven experience (3+ years) leading quality or risk functions, ideally within regulated, time-sensitive environments, with knowledge of ISO or similar systems
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead through others and drive change
Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and project delivery
