Application Specialist
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our talented Christchurch team as an Application Specialist. If you're passionate about geology and enjoy solving real-world problems, this role offers the chance to apply your expertise - particularly within mining and/or mineral exploration - in a highly impactful and global context.
In this role, you'll work closely with our worldwide technical team to tackle complex customer challenges, helping users get the most out of our advanced 3D geological modelling software. You'll quickly build deep product expertise and have the opportunity to share your knowledge by training and supporting others.
Based in our friendly and collaborative Christchurch office, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of projects from across the globe, giving you the opportunity to broaden your experience and see how geology is applied in different environments and industries.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist the technical team to understand and solve complex customer problems.
- Train others.
- Develop new skills in the Software Industry.
- Have a significant input into how our software looks and works.
- Test new features in our products.
Skills required to be successful in this role:
- BSC or MSc degree in the field of geoscience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the mining and/or mineral exploration industry is required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for, and deep technical understanding of geoscience software.
- Experience with Leapfrog is advantageous.
Additional Information
Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch office three or more days per week.
