We're hiring 4 Senior Cellar Hands to join our winery operations team.

This is a hands-on, shift-based role.
You run operations, take ownership, and step up to lead during harvest.

What the role looks like

You will work across all cellar operations and take ownership of your shift.

• Run wine transfers, additions, filtration and tank operations
• Operate cellar equipment independently (presses, pumps, filters)
• Maintain hygiene, food safety and quality standards
• Lead or support teams during vintage and peak periods
• Coach junior team members and help lift performance
• Keep accurate records and meet production targets

During harvest:

• 12-hour shifts
• Day, afternoon, and night work required
• Lead teams and own outcomes on shift

What we are looking for

This is a senior role. You must be able to operate independently and step into leadership when required.

Must have:

• 3+ years winery/cellar experience
• Strong understanding of cellar operations
• Ability to work shifts and long hours during peak periods
• Reliable, safe, and consistent under pressure

Pay and conditions

• $31.00 - $32.50 per hour (depending on experience)
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Additional hours required during peak periods

Leadership allowance:

• Additional hourly rate applies when taking on 2IC or 1IC responsibilities during harvest and peak operations
