New Zealand: Procurement Business Partner (Readvertised)
The Materials and Management Department (MMD) is on search for Procurement Business Partner who will be based at the Pacific Area Office in Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the Area Purchasing Manager.
This role supports the mission of the Church by administering purchasing activities within an assigned area. This will work closely with internal requesters and suppliers to source goods and services, negotiate contracts,
and ensure best value outcomes while maintaining strong professional and ethical standards.
A bachelor's degree with at least two years of related procurement or purchasing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated understanding and practical application of effective purchasing and sourcing principles
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve bestvalue outcomes
Customer service focus, able to build effective relationships with internal partners and external suppliers
High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgement aligned with Church values
Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to two weeks when required
Proof of legal right to work in New Zealand
A police background check may be required
Manage assigned purchasing requests from sourcing through delivery, including price analysis and vendor evaluations
Negotiate pricing and contractual terms and complete required procurement documentation
Provide technical and specialised procurement support to internal requesters
Foster strong supplier and partner relationships to ensure high performance and satisfaction
